Unfortunately, our beloved Yha Hauka coffee is sold out. We are taking it out of our range as we no longer receive fairly certified coffee from the cooperative. But cheer up! We are already on the lookout for new, fair trade organic coffees from Papua New Guinea or Asia. Together with our quality manager, we have analyzed which coffees are an alternative to Yha Hauka. One thing is clear: there is no other coffee in our range with exactly the same taste profile. Nevertheless, we recommend our Sonrisa from Mexico, which impresses with its bitter notes and a touch more acidity and less sweetness, and the Oromia from Ethiopia, which enchants with its mild sweetness and floral notes. In terms of taste, the Yha Hauka actually lies exactly between the Sonrisa and Oromia.

Details

Der Yha Hauka ist ein interessanter Kaffee, der sich durch eine feine Süße auszeichnet, kombiniert mit einer Note von Bitterschokolade. Je nach Zubereitung und Ziehzeit, können eher würzige, leicht pfeffrige Aromen, bis hin zu tiefen Schokoladennoten hervortreten. Das wird auch durch den mittelstarken Röstgrad hervorgerufen.

Bio-Kaffee aus dem Hochland Papua-Neuguineas zählt zu den seltenen Spezialitäten auf dem weltweiten Kaffeemarkt. Angebaut wird der Kaffee in sehr unzugänglichen Gegenden, in Höhenlagen von über 1300 m.

Der mittlere Mahlgrad ist für alle Zubereitungsarten geeignet.
