Bei der Produktion von Vollrohrzucker wird das klein geschnittene Zuckerrohr durch Walzen gepresst. Der Saft wird dann durch Kochen, Rühren, Trocknen, Vermahlen und Sieben schonend weiterverarbeitet. Damit hat der Vollrohrzucker auch einen höheren Mineralstoffgehalt als Weißzucker. Er schmeckt leicht karamellartig und lässt sich hervorragend zum Backen und Süßen von Speisen verwenden.
